Huayuan restaurant was opened in August 2012 with the aim to provide diverse gastronomic public in and around Bern with an authentic Chinese and East Asian dinning experience.

In reverence for traditional flavors, we dedicate ourselves to preparing specialties predominantly from Beijing and Szechuan cuisine using fresh ingredients and creative techniques, while unconditionally respecting and preserving tradition and authenticity. We strive to bring out the best in recipes that have been passed down through generations. This homage to tradition and modern cooking methods makes Huayuan unique.

In order to ensure our guests the highest possible culinary experience, we educate ourselves further during our annual trip to China to keep up with the latest culinary developments. In addition to the quality of our food, over the years we have continuously optimized the interior decoration, the furniture and the lighting of the restaurant in order to offer our guests a cozy and homely atmosphere.
